Daedalus Park planning application submitted

South coast commercial property developer Tidebank has submitted a full planning application to Gosport Borough Council for its proposed Daedalus Park development on the Solent Enterprise Zone at Daedalus.

The scheme will comprise of seven 2-storey buildings with B1/B2/B8 use that will be available for occupation in Q1 2016. It will provide bespoke and shell-scheme light industrial units and offices aimed at small and medium sized owner-managed businesses who want the option to design and buy their own work space.

The Solent Enterpise Zone at Daedalus (SEZ) is one of 26 nationally that are benefiting from significant governement investment into providing business ready infrastructure and financial incentives.  The aim is for the SEZ to become a location of choice for engineering, manufacturing and technology companies; and by 2026 for it to provide an estimated 3,500 jobs.

The SEZ is being delivered by a partnership of Fareham and Gosport Borough Councils; Hampshire County Council; the Homes and Communities Agency; the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire; and the Solent Local Enteprise Partnership.
