GIN at the Bakers (Gosport Informal Networking) on Thurs 19 Jan 1000-1200hrs

networking with a view at GIN at the Bakers!

GIN is the established free networking club for local pre-start, start-up and small businesses. Having met online during the pandemic i.e. GIN with a slice of Zoom (!) in-person meetings have resumed, albeit at a new venue.

GIN @ The Bakers – a new venue and title for the network

We are now meeting at the Bakers Bar and Kitchen at Royal Clarence Yard & Marina, so the opportunity to network with that view over the harbour remains.

Free parking is available in the Cooperage Green car park (please use the un-marked bays) that is accessed off Weevil Lane i.e. the second right after joining Weevil Lane from Mumby Road (A32). For more details see RCY&M Visitor Parking. With up to 4 hours free parking it also means that if you have the time you have the opportunity to stay on for lunch at either The Bakers Bar & Kitchen, or one of the other eateries at Royal Clarence Yard & Marina!

More about at GIN @ the Bakers

As the name suggests we are an informal group that meets every two months to share experiences of starting and running a small business and facilitate local B2B opportunities. In addition there is also the opportunity to find out about and access business support, including funding via your hosts Enterprise South and Gosport Borough Council.

There are no membership fees or charges to attend this event, you just need to pay for any refreshments that you may have.

At the meetings there is mix of regular and new attendees, so it is an ideal opportunity to establish and maintain business contacts from both Gosport and the surrounding area.

GIN is co-hosted by Gosport Borough Council and Enterprise South as part of their partnership to support local start-up and small businesses. Therefore, as well as establishing and maintaining business contacts, attendees can also access free 1:2:1 business advice and be signposted to wider business support. As a result of network member feedback this support now also includes free 1-2-1 next stage business growth planning support.
