Gosport Borough Council’s Economic Prosperity, Tourism and Culture team has commissioned Phoenix Fieldwork/RJS Associates to undertake the Gosport Visitor Survey 2015.

Market researchers will be conducting interviews between 16th August and 13th September at a number of locations across the town, including:

Town Centre and Waterfront
Stokes Bay
Lee-on-the-Solent
Explosion! and Royal Navy Submarine Museum
The Economic Prosperity, Tourism and Culture team regularly commissions a visitor survey as part of its work on promoting Gosport as a visitor destination and supporting the local vistor/tourism sector attractions and businesses.

The survey will give an insight into the

profile and origin of visitors
main purpose, duration and value of their visit
modes of travel to and within Gosport
attractions visited and activities undertaken
effectiveness of marketing and visitor information services
visitor satisfaction levels
