Gosport is again playing its part in contributing towards making Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) the world’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship.

Last year the town was recognised as a ‘High Impact Host’ by national organisers GEW UK and is looking to build on the success that included supporting 14 new business ideas.

GEW 2015 is being held during the week 16-22 November and four events aimed at supporting would be entrepreneurs and small business owners are being staged under the banner of Enterprising Gosport. They are organised by Gosport Borough Council, Enterprise First and Basepoint Gosport.

The four FREE events are as follows:

Tues 17th Business Start-up Workshop 0930 – 1300hrs at Gosport Discovery Centre
aimed at those who have not yet started their business it provides an introduction to writing a business plan and an opportunity to network with fellow entrepreneurs
Weds 18th Meet the Local Expert 0900-1300hrs at Explosion!
aimed at those who have just started their business or a more established small business looking to grow or address barriers to growth it provides top tips and insights
Thurs 19th Gosport Informal Network (GIN) @ The Boat House 1000-1200hrs
the FREE business networking club for Gosport’s business start-ups and small businesses
Fri 20th Introduction to Bookkeeping Workshop 0900 – 1200hrs at TaxAssist Gosport
