GEW 2019 & Gosport Enterprise Fair 2019

The World’s largest festival of entrepreneurship and Gosport is part of it!

Gosport Borough Council leads a partnership to stage an annual programme of free events coinciding with Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) to engage with residents starting their own business and the local small business community.

For 2019 the partners are Basepoint Gosport, Enterprise First, Good Things Foundation, Google, NatWest Bank, the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership and Start-Up Disruptors.

We are excited to be partnering with the Google Digital Garage Bus that will provide free local coaching, in-person training sessions and 1:1 workshops to help businesses grow.

The Google Digital Garage Bus is a unique place where anyone can come and learn how to harness the power of the internet. The training is offered both online and in-person. This initiative is free for all people to attend and is funded by Google.

In addition to the business related training, the Google Digital Garage Bus will also be in Gosport High Street on Tuesday 5th and Friday 22nd November to provide training and 1:1s to residents to help improve their digital skills.

Further free courses, training and 1:1s aimed at helping you to grow your confidence, career or business are available over the next few months at the local Google Digital Garage centre located in Commercial Road, Portsmouth. For more details see Google Digital Garage Portsmouth.
