Global Entrepreneurship Week – the world’s largest festival of entrepreneurship and Gosport is part of it

Gosport Borough Council leads a local partnership to stage a programme of activities to engage with both residents starting their own business and established small businesses to promote the advice and support available to them.

The other partners are Enterprise First, Basepoint Gosport, the Gosport Discovery Centre, Caroline Dinenage MP, the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership and StartUp Disruptors.  Support is also provided by local business leaders and professional services firms who share their entrepreneurship stories and top tips on starting and running a successful business.

The annual programme of FREE events is staged each November to coincide with Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) under the banner of Enterprising Gosport and is now in its fifth year.

The Gosport Enterprise Fair was established in 2016 and is hosted by Caroline Dinenage MP.  It attracts over 100 attendees and has become the flagship event for the GEW programme in Gosport.
