Caroline Dinenage MP is hosting this event in Gosport as part of the government backed Disability Confident campaign. This national campaign aims to challenge the negative attitudes to disability and disability employment, and help disabled people achieve their potential.
She says:
“You are warmly invited to join me and a number of local businesses to learn more about the financial, operational and social benefits of being a Disability Confident Employer.
Employers should be making the most of the talent that exists amongst disabled people in this country and this event, supported by the Minister for Disabled People, Justin Tomlinson MP, is to encourage employers to understand the business benefits of employing disabled jobseekers.
By working with local employers, role models and employees this event showcases how people with a disability can make a major contribution to local business success and challenge negative attitudes to disability employment.
Please confirm your attendance by emailing me at caroline.dinenage.mp@parliament.uk. Please put ‘Disability Confident’ in the subject line and say how many places you require.”
